An unsettling ordeal. A concerned person in our life referred to my situation in this way. It has stayed with me. So true.
Things are the same in my left breast: DCIS, Stage 0 Breast Cancer, Intermediate to High Grade, Noninvasive.
I met with Dr. Sally Knox at Baylor this morning. My Caring Cousin went with me. Dr. Knox commented that the radiologist made a "good catch." My mammograms between 2010 and 2012 had not changed too much.
I was diagnosed last Thursday, December 6, 2012. Much has happened in these past days.
I will have surgery on January 10th, 2013. Pre-op completed this afternoon.
